Sunday nights have been dull ’round these parts. We talk to loads of people who are looking for an affordable and fun way to finish up their weekend so we concocted a night that’s a little different from our regular fare. The menu’s still coming together but it’s going to focus on food from Mexico and both Latin America and South America.

It’s a party atmosphere and it’s happening every Sunday night for the foreseeable future. It might take a few weeks to get everyone to be in the know so we hope you’ll pass the word around.

Fish Tacos, Fajitas, Tortilla Sopas, Chicken Mole, Flautas – a variety of fresh and delicious dishes that go well with Coronas, Micheladas, Margaritas and Sangria. Kristen’s planning some tangy drinks to make summer come a little early here at Popolo. We’re calling the whole thing The New South which means it might include cuisine from anywhere south of the Mason Dixon line though, most likely, it’ll be from the area south of the US border.

More menu details will emerge in the next few weeks. There’s no cover charge, there will be very affordable food as well as some new-Mexican haute cuisine.
