Last month on Feb 7, we had a corker of a snowstorm and in the interest of public safety we postponed the
show planned with Kate Lorenz and moved it to The Ides Of March.

We at Popolo know Kate Lorenz through her band, Rusty Belle, a soup to nuts home-cooked bacchanal that even the smartypants Utne Reader says “is difficult to pigeonhole.” Kate has several side jobs, though, and one of them is playing with the band The Constellations with whom she’s made a new record with the infectious title, “Sing When Lonely.”

The album is now released and Kate and her band are driving around showing the world what to love.
The other thing is that Kate’s a local girl with strong ties to Chester and that is even more incentive to come see her.

Thursday, March 15. Doors open at 7:00, Michael Roberts of Wooden Dinosaur hits the stage at 7:45pm, and Kate and The Constellations go on at 8:15. Don’t miss it.
