We’re starting the evening by adding some very special specials to our menu including Boiled Lobster, Prime Rib, and Fresh Oysters with a champagne mignonette. There are still a few dinner reservations to be had, but not many.

At 10:00 in the Ballroom you’ll experience the dizzying musical onslaught of Vermont’s best stadium rock band, Intercept. They’ll play several sets of their incendiary rock, mostly your favorite anthems that will remind you what it was to be young in the ’80s. Print your receipt and bring it with you when you come. Wear something flashy. Your $10 ticket doesn’t include dinner, of course.

We’ll pass hors d’oeuvres and Floyd Lawrence will propose a eloquent toast to the new year. You’ll find someone to smooch at midnight and then continue on thrashing as if nothing had happened. But it’ll be 2013.

Admission to the party costs $10. There are two cash bars. You’ll need to be 21 years old to attend. Sorry, that’s how we’re doing it. You can hang out with your kids next year. There are no tickets left online. There are a few tickets left at the restaurant and a few more at the door. If you haven’t made your mind up about what you’re doing, you can certainly try your luck at the door. Happy New Year!
